Simon's work is impeccable. He redid 9 pieces for us and each one is lovely. Even though we already had yardage numbers, he came to measure the furniture to make sure we didn't spend extra money on fabric by over ordering...and saved us money. He also advised that the fabric I'd selected for our hardback sofa was too thick to lie flat and if I was uncomfortable with that look, I would want another option. I switched to a backup fabric I'd considered and it came out wonderfully...especially since the sofa has channel stitching and required extra precision. His delivery team was also efficient, friendly, and careful. I\u2019ve never used thumbtack before and we were apprehensive to do so as we usually go through friends or designers\u2019 referrals to get house work done. All that to say that Simon was so wonderful that I want to submit this review. He responded the same day I inquired about repairing the leather\/vinyl on our banquette in the kitchen. He reupholstered our dining banquettes as well as our fancy knoll chairs. He brought many sample fabric to show us. He even threw in pillows. We loved the results. He was quick and even got special COVID insurance to be able to deliver to our apartment during the pandemic. I am already looking for our next job to give him. Well done Simon. I have a cherry wood bedroom set that I cherished for 35 years. I hated to have anything new because I couldn\u2019t find anything of value like the one I had or it would be so expensive. I decided to have my old bedroom remade. It was the best decision I could have made. It was a little expensive but well worth it. The bedroom looks like new.<\/span><\/div><\/div>

He inspired confidence from the moment we first spoke, and his initial visit more than confirmed it. He is a pro-- knowledgeable, honest, fully cognizant of quality. His assessment of other furniture I have in my apartment--some very old, solid pieces, which could also use some sprucing up--was spot on. He took my sad-looking coffee table and just delivered it to me with only a two-plus week turnaround. It's gorgeous.
